TNABA always has something for everyone! Check out what activities are waiting for you. All of our programs and events are open to the entire community. We encourage our visually challenged friends to bring along their family and sighted friends. In fact, we design our activities to be inclusive and allow anyone, no matter their vision level, to enjoy sports and recreation together. Whether you are looking for recreational and leisure activities, to improve your health and fitness, or to compete regionally, nationally, and even internationally, we have something for you. If we do not have what your looking for, suggest it; we will find the resources for you.
To find out more about an event or program, access the program specific pages from the main drop down menu under Events, or you can select them from the Events Menu on the right side of the page. If you would like to sign up for a particular event you can fill out the form on the program pages. If you have further questions about an event, you will find a link to contact the program or event coordinator for that activity on our program pages.
We always welcome individual and group volunteers to assist in our events.
In our efforts to educate the community of the adaptations of sports and recreational activities, and the exceptional athletic abilities of those athletes that use them, TNABA hosts Community Days. These are events dedicated to showing our neighbors and friends through hands on experiences, what it is like to participate in sports through the eyes of a person who is blind or has low vision. Since this outreach program has started in 2011, we have had hundreds of participants in sports like Goalball, bowling, and Tandem Cycling. We invite you to check out one of these great experiences for yourself. Sign up your family, company, youth or church groups, athletic teams, or your group of friends for a great day outing.
